Andrijevica is a small mountain town perched on a ridge in north-east Montenegro, between the Komovi and Bjelasica ranges. Summers are mild and comfortable, with July highs around 28°C and cool nights, and the long days bring nearly 14 hours of sunshine. It is a fresh alternative to the lowland heat.

Winters are cold and snowy, with January highs around 5°C and lows near −3°C. Spring and early summer are fairly wet, keeping the surrounding meadows and forests green and vivid. Midsummer brings the warmest, driest and most settled weather of the year.

For hiking the Komovi peaks and exploring the highland scenery, come from June to September, when highs reach 24–28°C and July is the driest month. July and August are warmest. Autumn is colourful and calmer, while winter brings snow to the ridges for a quiet cold-weather escape.
