Ulaznice
Salon "13. Novembar" is the oldest juried national exhibition of contemporary art in Montenegro, held since the 1960s and reaching its 46th edition in 2024. It takes place at the Montenegrin Art Gallery "Miodrag Dado Đurić" in Cetinje, timed to the celebration of the city's Capital Day on 13 November — the date that gives the salon its name.
Each edition, a jury selects works by Montenegrin contemporary artists, making the salon the annual snapshot of the country's art scene — what its artists are producing right now. The Grand Prix is among the most watched national art awards of the year; in 2024 it went to Abaz Dizdarević.
Housed in the gallery named after Dado Đurić, one of Montenegro's greatest painters, and set in the museum-dense heart of the old royal capital, the salon rewards an unhurried visit: a single exhibition that doubles as a survey of Montenegrin art today.
Entry is free throughout the exhibition's run.
