Fashion Week Montenegro is the country's national fashion week, held each April in Podgorica. The 2025 edition — branded "1664 Blanc FWM" — ran from 7 to 12 April, six days of runway shows, presentations and industry gatherings at Capital Plaza and other city venues.

April flatters the capital. Podgorica, set on a plain where rivers meet, is fully awake after winter: the light softens, cafe terraces spill back onto the squares, and the greenery of Gorica park frames the city's modern skyline. Fashion week arrives at just the moment when the city itself is changing wardrobes for spring, and the mood on the streets matches the mood on the runway.

The event mixes international brands with the domestic design scene. The 2024 programme included shows by Gianni Calignano, Lisca, Montana and Benetton, while the 2025 opening drew inspiration from Svetlana Kana Radević, the celebrated Montenegrin architect whose modernist buildings define Podgorica's skyline — a statement that fashion here is in dialogue with the country's wider creative heritage.

For one week the capital gets a runway-city feel: models, designers, photographers and buyers circulate between venues, and evening shows become the social events of the season.
