Promenade to Sveti Stefan

The promenade that starts at Pržno Beach and heads south through pine forest and Mediterranean greenery is one of the most scenic walking routes on the Budva Riviera. After 20–30 minutes of walking, you reach the public beach at Sveti Stefan, the iconic island-hotel with two beaches totalling approximately 1,100 metres in length. The path passes through Miločer Park, known for its cedar trees and diverse Mediterranean vegetation, which was once the royal estate of the Karađorđević family.

Beyond the hotel facilities, the seafront promenade offers several konobas and cafés known for fresh fish and local specialities — Konoba More and Konoba Langust are recognised dining spots with sea views. Restaurants in Pržno are somewhat higher-priced compared to Budva, but they offer an authentic gastronomic experience in a genuine coastal setting.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Pržno is located approximately 10 km south of Budva, which is about 10–15 minutes by car along the Adriatic Highway towards Sveti Stefan. Local buses on the Budva–Bar line stop at Pržno or on the main road above the village.
The beach is generally suitable for families with children, although the rocky sections require caution. The sea is clean and the surroundings are peaceful compared to the larger beaches of the riviera. Children can enjoy swimming in the sandy sections.
Parking is limited — there are a small number of spaces along the shore and in the village. In July and August parking fills up quickly, so it is advisable to arrive early in the morning or use the local bus from Budva.
Within walking distance are Kamenovo beach (5–10 minutes), and along the southern promenade a 20–30 minute walk leads to Sveti Stefan beach and Miločer with Kraljičina plaža (Queen's Beach). The Hotel Maestral Resort & Casino is located right next to the beach.
