A family winery in Crmnica that joins more than ten generations of winemaking with French oak barrels. Reds are made from vranac with marselan, petit verdot, cabernet sauvignon, sangiovese and kratošija, alongside fruit rakijas and liqueurs. Tastings pair the wines with pršut, cheese and marinated carp from Lake Skadar, and can be combined with the family's boat trips on the lake. The cellar is on the main road by Virpazar railway station; book tastings at least a day ahead.

Miško and Maja, the thirteenth generation of the Leković family in Godinje, make vranac and chardonnay inside Lake Skadar National Park. Tastings with home-made snacks, rakija and liqueurs take place on a terrace beside the oldest house in the village. In August and September guests can also see the vineyard and the cellar and join the harvest. Open April to November, by reservation only.

The Kopitović family has lived in Donji Brčeli in Crmnica since the 15th century, and their house konoba, where wine and rakija are made and stored, is more than 300 years old. They make six wines: the white Tre Sorelle, the rosé Ruža and the reds Sojak, Šćepan Mali, Poskok and Kraljevski pečat. Tastings are held in the family house with home cooking. The village is 7 km from Virpazar; book ahead by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp.

Ilija Klisić and his family grow about four hectares of vranac, kratošija, cabernet sauvignon, Italian muscat and the native lisičina at Limljani, about 12 km by road south of Virpazar at 220 m. They offer tastings, meals made mostly from their own produce, cooking classes and two double rooms. In season guests can join the pruning, the September–October harvest and the October rakija-making.

The Šofranac family winery in the hamlet of Suvodoli in Rvaši, in the Riječka nahija above Lake Skadar. About 3,000 terraced vines give the red Mrkan from kratošija and vranac and the whites Suvodolski dukat and Suvodolski chardonnay, plus rakija and liqueurs. The ethno-style tasting room looks over the vineyard and the village. Visits by arrangement; in August and September guests can join the harvest.

A family winery in Drušići, the best-known wine village of the Riječka nahija, above Lake Skadar. About 4,000 vines give some 3,000 litres of red, white and rosé wine and 750 litres of rakija a year, made to old family recipes. Visitors tour the vineyard and cellar and taste wine and rakija with traditional snacks; in August and September they can join the harvest.

The Rajković family winery in the Crmnica village of Bukovik, at 250 m and about 7 km from Lake Skadar; it was registered in 2010 after three generations of winemaking. On 1.7 hectares between 270 and 700 m they grow vranac, cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, marselan and muscat ottonel. They offer guided tastings, vineyard tours and wine sales, with groups by booking.

A winery and rural guesthouse in the village of Smokovci, about 15 km from Cetinje near Lake Skadar, revived by former handball player Mladen Rakčević in his century-old family house. Half a hectare of vranac, kratošija, cabernet sauvignon and merlot gives the Pečalbar, Depeša and Smokovac wines, named after family stories. Tastings come with local appetisers or lunch, and there are harvest visits, wine sales and rooms.

A winery on the slopes of Građani above Lake Skadar, where amphorae and jugs from excavations show winemaking since the 3rd century BC. A guided tour of about an hour and a half covers vineyards of native varieties, the bottling hall and a 60-metre cellar dug 10 m underground; some wine is made in Georgian qvevri and Italian amphorae. The standard tasting has four wines with local snacks; tours are booked in advance.
