Ljeto sa zvijezdama — Summer with the Stars

Ljeto sa zvijezdama — Summer with the Stars — is Bar's gift to its summer visitors: a series of free Friday-night concerts by major regional stars on the Šetalište Kralja Nikole, the town's seafront promenade. The 2026 season, announced in early July, brings six Friday concerts from 17 July to 21 August, organised by the Bar tourist organisation.

The promenade is Bar's summer artery: a long seafront walk lined with palms, cafés and pebble beaches, where the whole town circulates on warm evenings. Dropping an open-air stage into that flow is a simple idea executed perfectly — the audience is already there, dressed for the evening, ice cream in hand, when the lights come up.

The billing is genuinely big: this year's line-up includes Dženan Lončarević, Saša Kovačević and Džejla Ramović — arena-filling names from across the region, performing under the open sky for free. Concerts start at 21:00, when the promenade is at its liveliest and the heat has softened.

Crowds are huge, with tens of thousands gathering along the seafront across the series, turning each Friday into a town-wide event that spills through the cafés and beaches of the promenade. The atmosphere is festive rather than frantic — families, teenagers and visitors sharing the same stretch of shore.

The weekly rhythm makes the series a fixture of the town's high season: Fridays in Bar simply mean the promenade, and the line-up gives locals and tourists a shared calendar for six summer weeks.

No tickets, no fences — just arrive. If your July or August travels pass through Bar on a Friday between 17 July and 21 August, plan your evening around it: dinner on the promenade, then a headline concert at 21:00 with the Adriatic behind the stage.
