New Year’s Eve in Herceg Novi

Herceg Novi celebrates the arrival of 2027 with a three-day music programme in the city centre. The heart of the event is Nikola Đurković Square, next to the Tora city tower, where Saša Matić, Dženan Lončarević, Nataša Bekvalac, Adi Šoše and Aleksandar Sofronijević with his orchestra will perform over three evenings.

Programme

On New Year’s Eve, 31 December, visitors can look forward to a double concert by Saša Matić and Dženan Lončarević, with a shared celebration of midnight on the city square. The celebration continues on 1 January with a performance by Nataša Bekvalac and Adi Šoše. The three-day programme is rounded off on 2 January by Aleksandar Sofronijević with his orchestra, along with a surprise guest. Alongside the music programme, special content is also being prepared for the youngest visitors – Children’s New Year, with fun and educational activities.

Where it takes place and how to get there

Events take place at Nikola Đurković Square, in the very centre of Herceg Novi, next to the Tora city tower. The square is in the pedestrian zone of the old town and is easily reached on foot from all parts of the centre. Herceg Novi has public car parks near the centre, including one at Marshal Tito Square and the car park at Škver.

The celebration in Herceg Novi combines concerts by regional performers with the Mediterranean atmosphere of a coastal town in winter. The programme lasts three days, so visitors can extend their stay and explore the old town, squares and streets in their festive attire, with views of the sea.
