About
At the ninth kilometer of the road from Plužine to the village of Stabna, where the Vrbnica River flows into Piva Lake, Camp Vrbnica is located. It is surrounded by mountain massifs and untouched nature, and the view stretches across the river and the wide lake shores to the surrounding peaks.
The river in front of the camp and the crystal-clear lake in the background give the setting a special character. A walk along the river brings a feeling of complete tranquility, and evenings in the silence of nature are easily remembered.
The camp is primarily intended for tents and campers, but in addition to camping spots it also offers apartments, rooms for rent, three open terraces, and an authentic savardak. A souvenir shop operates within the household. Everything is arranged to preserve the natural harmony, so the stay combines the comfort of accommodation with the immediate proximity of nature.
The lake can be explored by speedboat or on an organized cruise, and fishing, swimming in Piva Lake, and hiking to Stabanska Lakes and the surrounding peaks are also possible. Adventure lovers can try rafting on the Tara River, and the camp is a good starting point for exploring the wider surroundings of Piva Lake and Durmitor.
The hosts welcome guests warmly and hospitably, and morning coffee with homemade brandy and peaceful evenings by the river are part of a memorable stay.
Activities in the area: cycling, mountain trails, fishing, and boat rides.
