Country household “Pčelarstvo Ćirović”

The household “Pčelarstvo Ćirović” is located in the Šavnik municipality, in the village of Tušina, between two mountain rivers, Tušina and Bukovica.

The main occupation of the Ćirović family is beekeeping, and the orchard and garden on the property are used for the family's needs. Every autumn they distill homemade rakija and make various juices, jams, and liqueurs from the fruit on the property. They pick and dry teas, which they offer to visitors for tasting during the summer season. Beekeeping has grown from a family tradition into a family business over time, so their natural cosmetics “Ana-Marija” are already recognizable on the market.

Swimming in the Bukovica River is a real attraction, and the hosts will gladly show guests hidden waterfalls and natural pools. It is also possible to organize a visit to the nearby fishpond and prepare freshly caught fish together with the hosts. Nearby are the Komarnica Nature Park and Durmitor National Park.
