About
Ethno katun is located 11 kilometres from Black Lake, on the panoramic road known as the Durmitor Ring. This rural homestead, nestled in the embrace of the mountain and surrounded by pastures, forests and domestic animals, offers an authentic experience of Durmitor and katun life. The viewpoint in the Tara Canyon is 19 km away, and the bridge on Đurđevića Tara is 30 km away.
Guests stay in traditional mountain cabins decorated in ethno style, and a restaurant, terrace, garden and bar are available. Breakfast is served in continental or vegetarian options, and the homestead also provides barbecue equipment.
Food and drink come from the Karadžić family estate and are prepared according to old recipes. The most sought-after are homemade priganice, scrambled eggs, cheese and skorup, prosciutto, kačamak and raspberry juice.
Activities include jeep safari, cycling and hiking tours, horseback riding tours and a riding school, and in cooperation with local partners, rafting, canyoning, paragliding and zip-line are organized. Guests can also participate in village chores or simply enjoy the peace and quiet of Durmitor.
The katun also has its bohemian touch – in summer, parties are organized on the meadow with music from records played from a tractor, known as "matinees". Guests highlight the warmth of the hosts and the family atmosphere, and children especially enjoy horseback riding and spending time with the animals.
Activities in the surrounding area: cycling, horseback riding, mountain trails, fishing and bicycle rental.
