Rural household "Katun Ornice"

"Katun Ornice", also known as katun "Durmitor", is located in the village of Ornice, in the heart of the picturesque nature of Durmitor National Park, on the Žabljak – Trsa – Plužine road. It is a true example of a traditional Montenegrin katun.

The katun consists of several small huts and bungalows for tourist accommodation, equipped with the most basic furniture. In the largest hut there is an ethno tasting room, i.e. a restaurant where visitors can try Montenegrin specialties. There are also facilities for housing cattle, horses and poultry.

Guests can take part in village chores – tending the garden, caring for animals, preparing food, mowing and gathering hay. A special attraction of the household are tourist horseback riding tours.
