Kula Veljića Rural Homestead

The Kula Veljića Rural Homestead is located in the village of Tucanje, near Petnjica. The building where guests stay was built in 1934 and is one of the most significant buildings in the Bihor area. It was once called the house of solitude: it was a landmark, a meeting place for traveling merchants, and also a shop.

The Veljić family today is primarily engaged in livestock farming and agriculture, so they offer guests homemade traditional specialties made from their own produce.

Along with many stories about the history and traditions of their family, the friendly hosts also offer guests activities such as hiking or cycling.
