About the event

Biser Jadrana — "Pearl of the Adriatic" — is an international folklore festival held in Tivat in mid-July (18–19 July in 2025), bringing folk dance and music ensembles together for two summer evenings on the Boka coast.

The stage fills with the colour and rhythm of international folklore: costumed ensembles performing the dances and songs of their home regions. Folklore festivals of this kind are a summer staple across the Adriatic, and Tivat's edition adds the bay itself as scenery — performances unfold with the mountains of the Boka and the evening sea close at hand.

For visitors, it is an easy and family-friendly way to spend a July evening: vivid costumes, live music and dance that needs no translation, in the middle of Tivat's walkable waterfront town centre.

Entry is free. The festival lands in the heart of the high season, so it pairs naturally with a beach day or a stroll along the Pine promenade — arrive as the evening cools and let the programme carry the night.
