About
Auto Camp Tahu is located right on the shore of Plav Lake, in Vojno Selo near Plav. It is surrounded by a large grassy area, orchards and mountain scenery, with views across the lake to the surrounding mountains. The camp accommodates camper vans, caravans and tents, and guests can choose a spot on the grass with a view of the water.
The shore next to the camp is partly overgrown with aquatic vegetation, so not every section is suitable for entering the water, but the lake can be accessed from a pier. Numerous water birds can be observed in the area.
Electricity and water are available to campers. The newer part of the camp has four toilets and four showers, washbasins and a dishwashing area. The camp welcomes guests all year round.
Owner Stevo and his family are known for their hospitality and warm welcome; guests can try homemade dishes and rakija, and fruit and vegetables from the garden are often offered. Right next to the camp, within the Ethno Village, there is a restaurant with local specialties and a view of the lake, and in the evening guests can socialize around a campfire.
Plav Lake lies between Prokletije and Visitor, at just over 900 meters above sea level. In summer, kayaks, pedal boats and rowing boats are available on the lake, the area is known for sport fishing, and the surroundings are suitable for walking and cycling. Plav is also one of the main starting points for Prokletije, so the camp can serve as a base for hikers.
Activities in the area: cycling, mountain trails, fishing, bicycle rental and boat rides.
