About
Mijakovići Campground is a small family campground in the village of the same name in the municipality of Pljevlja. It is set on a green meadow surrounded by forest and hills, and in addition to space for campers and tents, it also offers small wooden cabins for overnight stays. Everything is simple, tidy, and nicely integrated into the rural setting.
The campground has only a few pitches on a grassy area, so it retains an intimate and relaxed character. Campers have access to electrical hookups, and the sanitary facilities consist of two toilets and two showers with hot water. Although the campground is by the road, there is almost no traffic at night, so it is peaceful – both for a short break on a journey and for a stay of several days.
For guests without a camper or tent, there are three small, hand-built wooden cabins or bungalows on the property, with a rustic look that blends naturally into the surroundings. Along with the accommodation, there is a garden and terrace, as well as a barbecue area. The campground is also suitable for guests traveling with pets.
The stay can be combined with homemade food: breakfast is offered in continental, English/Irish, and vegetarian options, and traditional dinners made from local ingredients are also mentioned. The hosts are friendly and ready to help, and communication is possible in English as well.
The Đurđevića Tara Bridge is about 18 kilometers away, and Black Lake about 43 kilometers, so the campground can be a peaceful base or a stopover on the way to Tara, Žabljak, and Durmitor.
Activities in the area: cycling, mountain trails, and boat rides.
