About
Camping Lake Views is located on the shore of Plav Lake, in the settlement of Rudo Polje, at the foot of Mount Visitor. Green areas slope down almost to the water, and the view stretches across the lake towards the mountains and the nearby Prokletije. The location is easily accessible, along the road connecting Plav and Gusinje and leading further towards Prokletije and Albania.
A large camping area on a grassy surface by the lake accommodates a large number of campers, caravans and tents. Electricity and water hook-ups, sanitary facilities with showers and hot water, Wi-Fi, a barbecue area and waste water disposal for campers are available. The camp is also suitable for guests with pets.
Besides the camp, the complex also has rooms decorated in a mountain spirit, with plenty of wood and a view towards the lake. The restaurant prepares traditional dishes from homemade and local ingredients, so after a day on the trails or by the lake you can dine in the same place.
The surroundings offer hiking and mountaineering, cycling, sport fishing and water activities. A particularly beautiful cycling route leads along the eastern side of the lake towards Gusinje and further towards the valleys of Prokletije. It is worth visiting the Grebaja valley, Ali-pasha's springs, Redžepagića tower and the old Plav mosques, as well as exploring Visitor.
The hosts and staff are friendly and approachable, understanding of late arrivals and happy to give recommendations for exploring the surroundings.
