Opening of the winter season in Kolašin
Three-day opening of the ski season in Kolašin: bazaar and concerts at Trg boraca and a program at the Kolašin 1600 ski resort. The date for 2026 has not been announced yet.
The opening date for the 2026/27 season has not been announced yet; the dates listed here are indicative, based on last year's timing. Follow the Kolašin Tourism Organization and Ski Resorts of Montenegro.
Two connected ski resorts operate on Bjelasica: Kolašin 1450 and the state ski center Kolašin 1600. The 2025/26 winter season at Kolašin 1600 lasted 77 ski days, with around 80,000 visitors; the resort management cites the lack of an artificial snowmaking system as the main problem, part of which, according to their announcement, should be ready for the next season. Heavy rain and torrent damaged the lower parts of the Kolašin 1600 slopes in September 2026, and repairs began immediately.
The opening program in town – bazaar and concerts at Trg boraca – is free and intended also for those who do not ski; ski passes are charged according to the ski resort price list.
