About
River Camp Morača is located on the lower course of the Morača, just before the river flows into Lake Skadar. Opened in 2026, it is intended for campers, vans, motorcyclists and guests with tents, and the small number of pitches preserves a peaceful, family atmosphere.
Pitches are on flat, carefully maintained grassy ground right by the river. Some spots have natural shade, and the water is just a few steps from almost the entire camp. Guests have access to electricity, water, Wi-Fi, toilets and showers with hot water, as well as a washing machine. Sanitary facilities are simple, new and tidy. There is also a shared table and social area, and guests with their own glamping equipment can set up their tent in a more secluded part.
Along the bank there is a jetty and a platform for entering the water, swimming or setting off by kayak. Kayaks are rented at the camp, so you can explore the Morača at your own pace – all the way to Lake Skadar, through a river landscape rich in vegetation, water lilies and birds. The camp is also suitable for fishing.
From the camp jetty, boat trips depart towards the lake, past water lilies and calm backwaters, through areas where pelicans and other water birds can be observed. Larger houseboat tours are also available, suitable for families and groups.
Host Žarko is happy to help with everyday things – groceries, restaurant recommendations, transport or organising excursions. The camp is a good base for Lake Skadar, Virpazar, Podgorica and other parts of central Montenegro. There is a restaurant nearby, and for larger supplies you go to nearby settlements.
Activities in the area: cycling, fishing and boat trips.
