November Days in Tivat

The programme opens on 1 November with an exhibition of paintings by Miljenko Sindik and Anton Pean at the Tivat Museum and Gallery. From 20 November, visitors can see an exhibition of sculptures and reliefs from the Luka Tomanović Legacy in the same venue.

The Tivat Music and Educational Society, on the occasion of its 117th anniversary, is staging a promenade concert at Pine on 8 November. On the same day, the Tivat Tourism Organisation leads a walking tour from Gornja Lastva to the summit of Sveti Ilija on Vrmac. The Tivat City Library is preparing four literary events, the Napredak Cultural and Artistic Society is presenting the publication Lanterne, the Boka Cultural and Artistic Society is staging a traditional concert, and the Secretariat for Social Activities is organising the traditional Walk through Cultural Heritage.

Municipality Day is marked by a series of traditional and ceremonial activities: the Peace Race, the laying of wreaths at the monument to fallen fighters of the National Liberation War, a ceremonial parade, the handover of the flag to the Bokeljska mornarica unit and a kolo dance. The ceremonial session of the Tivat Municipality Assembly begins at 11 a.m.
