Igalo sits at the sunny western edge of the Boka bay, long known as a spa resort for its mild, healthful climate. Summers are warm and bright, with July highs around 31°C and the sea warming from 23°C in June to a peak of 26°C in August. Midsummer brings close to 14 hours of sunshine a day.

The best beach and spa weather runs from June to September, when the sea holds 23–26°C under long, sunny days. July and August are warmest and busiest, while June and September stay warm and calmer. The mild shoulder months of spring and autumn also suit wellness breaks and gentle seafront walks.
Bring swimwear, sun protection and light clothing for summer, with a light layer for warm evenings. Comfortable shoes suit the flat seafront promenade, while spring, autumn and winter visits call for a light jacket or warm coat with an umbrella.
