Overview

The trail on Gorica Hill winds through greenery above Podgorica to the summit at 130 m a.s.l. It is only 0.9 km long and ideal for a relaxed walk at any time of day.

The trail on Gorica Hill is one of the most accessible hiking routes in the Podgorica area. It starts at an elevation of around 81 m and climbs to the top of Gorica at 130 m a.s.l., covering a total ascent of 46 m over a short stretch of 0.9 km.

The surface is varied: about half of the route consists of a dirt or forest path, nearly half is asphalt or concrete, and a smaller portion is a gravel track. The trail returns by the same way, so the full route is an out-and-back.

At the top of Gorica (0.8 km from the starting point) a view over the city opens up. The route is excellent for a morning walk, a short workout, or a family outing with children.

Thanks to the low elevation and gentle terrain, the trail is suitable for almost all ages and fitness levels throughout the entire year.
