The trail starts in Spuž. In the initial part, about 1.0 km from the start, there is a viewpoint at 1546 m above sea level. Then you come across two springs (at 1.6 km and 1.9 km from the start, at 1494 m and 1483 m above sea level), then the Maganik Mountain Hut (1346 m above sea level, 3.1 km from the start) and the Goveđa glava peak (1547 m above sea level, 5.9 km from the start). The trail then continues towards Poljana. Due to the length and descent, the estimated duration without breaks is 13 hours and 50 minutes, so a multi-day plan is recommended.
This route is very demanding and intended for experienced hikers (SAC T3). Danilovgrad (about 6.5 km) and Podgorica (about 9.4 km) are near the trail.
