The trail is mostly unpaved and forest (70%), with rocky sections (20%) and minor asphalt/concrete passages (9%). At the start you quickly reach viewpoints at 911 m and 903 m a.s.l. and the Mala Vrsuta peak (885 m a.s.l.), all about 1,4–1,6 km from the start. At 4,9 km from the start there is a drinking water fountain at 611 m a.s.l.
Further on, the trail leads over a viewpoint at 787 m a.s.l. (10,5 km) and Sutorman Pass (805 m a.s.l., 10,7 km), then climbs towards Vrsuta peak (1183 m a.s.l., 13,9 km). Along that part there is also a viewpoint at 1162 m a.s.l. (13,7 km). The final part descends; the start and end are not in the same place.
The trail is demanding and rated T2 on the SAC scale. It is intended for hikers prepared for a full-day outing, with appropriate footwear and enough water.
