The cape divides the beach into two smaller coves, giving visitors the option of choosing a quieter and more secluded spot. The natural pine forest setting gives this corner of the riviera a distinct character compared to the more urban beaches nearby. Ratac is reached by a short walk through the forest, with no built tourist infrastructure.
The Monastery of the Virgin of Ratac is a historical site located in the immediate vicinity of Cape Ratac, combining the bathing character of Sutomore with the cultural and religious heritage of the Bar Riviera.
