Public beach at the entrance to Boka Kotorska
Kumbor Beach is the main public bathing area of the settlement of Kumbor on the Herceg Novi Riviera, located along the Kumbor Strait, which connects the Herceg Novi and Tivat bays, about 6 km east of Herceg Novi. The coastline is about 3 km long and consists of a series of smaller beaches with pebbles, cobbles and concrete platforms, with calm and clear sea. The public sections are free and easily accessible from the coastal road, while to the west is Zmijice Beach and to the east is Portonovi with its marina and a paid beach club. From the shore there are views of the Luštica Peninsula and the Kumbor Strait, and from Kumbor boat excursions depart to the Blue Cave, Mamula and Žanjica.

Zmijice Beach is located at the western end of the Kumbor coastline, right on the border with the settlement of Zelenika. It is a small beach of fine pebbles, about a hundred metres long, with one section under sun loungers and one section for bathers with their own equipment. Nearby are cafés and parking, and the view opens across the strait towards the Luštica Peninsula.
Portonovi is a luxury complex at the eastern end of the Kumbor coastline, with a marina and an organized paid beach club. Here you can stroll among yachts, enjoy restaurants and cafés, or rent a sun lounger on the organized part of the beach. It is the most exclusive part of the Kumbor coast, with a completely different atmosphere from the public beach.
From Kumbor, boat excursions depart to the three most famous attractions of the bay: the Blue Cave, whose glow is created by the refraction of light in the water, Mamula Fortress on the island of Lastavica, a masterpiece of military construction at the entrance to Boka, and Žanjica Beach on the southern side of Luštica. It is a full-day excursion that combines natural beauty and history, with departures directly from the shore of Kumbor.
