Beaches in Kotor and the Bay of Kotor
Dobrota
The town bathing area in Dobrota is about a ten-minute walk north of the Sea Gate. The shore is made of pebbles and stones with concrete platforms, and the swimming zone is marked with buoys. There are no sun loungers in the public section. Parking in Dobrota is difficult, so it is better to leave the car in the public parking in Kotor and come on foot. This is also the nearest swimming spot for cruise passengers.
Orahovac and Bajova Kula
Orahovac is a small village towards Perast, with a quiet beach along the shore and limited free parking. Bajova Kula is a small pebble beach of about 60 m in Dražin Vrt cove, named after the 17th-century tower of Bajo Pivljanin. It has a beach bar and sun loungers, and the small free parking in front of the beach fills up quickly in summer.
Markov rt and Morinj
Markov rt is a pebble beach on the cape between Prčanj and Donji Stoliv, about 7 km from Kotor, with views of Kotor and the mountains. Morinj, 24 km from Kotor and about 11 km from Tivat Airport, has a calm pebble beach with colder sea, due to cold springs nearby. Parking by the beach costs about €4 per day, and free spots are along the main road.
Beaches in Tivat
Belane is a town pebble beach of about 200 m at the start of the Pine promenade, next to the Kalimanj marina; parking by the beach is free but limited. Kalardovo is a calm beach of about 250 m, around 3 km from the center of Tivat, made of pebbles and sand, suitable for families with children. It is next to the airport and near the Island of Flowers, and parking in front of the beach is mostly free.
Luštica: Plavi horizonti and Pecka
Plavi horizonti is a sandy beach of about 300 m on the Luštica peninsula, surrounded by pine forest, with shallows that extend up to 100 m from the shore. Two parking areas cost €5 (closer) and €2–3 per day (uphill, about 200 m from the entrance). Pecka (Velja Spila) is a beach of about 100 m on the Tivat side of Luštica, about 15 km from Tivat, below a stone wall, with clear open-sea water. Half of the beach is public, and organized parking costs about €4.

Good to know
Beaches in the bay are small and fill up quickly in summer. A kayak or small boat from Kotor and Perast is a good way to reach quieter spots along the coast.
