Pine Promenade beside Belane Beach

The Pine town promenade continues directly from Belane Beach and is the main gathering place for Tivat locals and visitors alike. Café and restaurant terraces with bay views are lined along the promenade, which naturally extends into the Porto Montenegro waterfront, forming a stretch that can be walked for hours beside the sea. The view from the promenade includes the sailing ship Jadran, built in 1933, which has sailed over 400,000 nautical miles and is one of the symbols of the city.

Kalimanj Harbour

Kalimanj harbour is situated directly beside Belane Beach and is one of Tivat's characteristic maritime landmarks. The small fishing port lends the beach an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere, and boat transfers to surrounding locations in the bay are organised from here. The harbour also has a small boat mooring, so it is possible to dock your own vessel for the day. The view from the beach towards the harbour also takes in Ostrvo sv. Marka, the only natural island in the Bay of Tivat.

Ostrvo sv. Marka

From Belane Beach you have a direct view of Ostrvo sv. Marka (Stradioti), a natural island in the Bay of Tivat accessible only by sea. The island is surrounded by small coves with lush Mediterranean and subtropical vegetation, and the abundance of clear turquoise water attracts a large number of swimmers seeking tranquillity away from the town beaches. By boat from Kalimanj harbour the island is only a few minutes away, making it an ideal half-day excursion.
