Tivat: four evenings on the Pine waterfront

Tourist Organisation Tivat is preparing four concert evenings on the Pine waterfront, by the sea in the town centre, from 30 December to 2 January. On New Year's Eve, Ceca Ražnatović performs, with Danijel Alibabić as the opening act. The concerts are part of a wider holiday programme running from 12 December to 13 January, with events across the town, under the slogan Your wish. Your Tivat.

Herceg Novi: three evenings at Trg Nikole Đurkovića

Herceg Novi organises the celebration at Trg Nikole Đurkovića, next to the town clock tower, from 31 December to 2 January. The square is in the pedestrian zone of the old town, and public car parks are at Trg Maršala Tita and at Škver. A Children's New Year is being prepared for the youngest, but its date and location have not yet been announced.

Kotor: Zdravko Čolić at Trg od oružja

Tourist Organisation Kotor announced the performers for the celebration at Trg od oružja at the end of October: on 30 December NS Big Band and DJ Funkella perform, on New Year's Eve Zdravko Čolić, and at the New Year's Eve reprise Doris Dragović and Ansambl Toć. The concerts are part of the Kotor Winter Fest programme, whose details are yet to be announced. For the 2026 celebration, Parni valjak and Marija Šerifović performed on the same square.

Budva: three-day programme at Trg slikara

Tourist Organisation Budva has announced a three-day New Year programme from 30 December to 1 January at Trg slikara, in front of the Old Town walls, but the performers had not been announced by 2 November. Admission to the concerts on the square is free.

Last season Budva had seven evenings of concerts, from 29 December to 4 January: on New Year's Eve Teodora Šćepanović, Emina Jahović and Aco Pejović performed, and on 1 January Perper, Chegi bend and Bijelo dugme.

Bar: Seka Aleksić, unofficially

According to unofficial information from Primorski portal, Seka Aleksić will lead the people of Bar and guests into 2027, on the plateau in front of the Topolica Sports Centre. At the beginning of October, Tourist Organisation Bar could not confirm the Dino Merlin concert for 1 January, about which negotiations were held. For the 2026 celebration, Bar had five evenings of concerts at two locations, and on 1 January Zdravko Čolić performed.

Podgorica: celebration at Trg nezavisnosti

From the second half of December, the capital sets up the Podgorica Christmas market at Trg nezavisnosti, with wooden stalls, food and concerts, and New Year is celebrated on the same square. The market dates and performers for 2026/27 have not yet been announced. For the 2026 celebration, Sara Jo and Marko Louis performed on the square. In nearby Tuzi, the New Year bazaar and celebration are at Trg Skenderbega.

Other towns and a snowy New Year

For Ulcinj, Nikšić, Cetinje, Kolašin and Žabljak, programmes for the 2027 celebration had not been announced by 2 November. Cetinje has the holiday programme A New Year's Story in the Royal Capital, in front of King Nikola's Palace. In December, Kolašin opens the ski season with a programme at Trg boraca and at Kolašin 1600, but only if there is snow, as the ski resorts have no artificial snowmaking.

After the celebrations: Christmas and Orthodox New Year

The holidays continue in January. On Christmas Eve, Wednesday 6 January, the badnjak is lit in front of churches in the evening, and Orthodox Christmas is on Thursday, 7 January. Orthodox New Year is celebrated on the night of 13 to 14 January: the holiday programme in Tivat runs until 13 January, and programmes for Orthodox New Year celebrations in other towns have not yet been announced. On Epiphany, 19 January, the swimming for the Holy Cross takes place at Sastavci in Podgorica.
